A farewell program was organised due to Prof. Dr. Serkan Öztürk, a faculty member of the New Media and Communication Department at Yalova University's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, continuing his academic work at Istanbul Medeniyet University.
A farewell dinner was organised in honour of Prof. Dr. Serkan Öztürk, who contributed to the academic community and students under the roof of Yalova University for many years. The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hasan Kaplan, the Head of the New Media and Communication Department, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Gökhan Genel, faculty members, and administrative staff attended the event.
In the farewell program held in a warm atmosphere, Prof. Dr. Öztürk's scientific works, educational activities, and contributions to the institution were emphasised. Prof. Dr. Serkan Öztürk, who left a significant mark on academic life with his scientific contributions and the students he trained, was wished health, happiness, and success in his new life phase.
