The "Akbank Short Film Festival," one of Turkey's most established short film festivals held since 2004, took place on Thursday, December 11th, in the Yalova University Rectorate Conference Hall.
The screening featured short films awarded by the "Akbank Short Film Festival. "The short films "Identity" directed by Ada Arıstak, "On the Road" directed by Samir Karahoda, and "Deficient" directed by Cem Demirer were screened for the audience.
At the screening, faculty members from Yalova University's Department of New Media and Communication, including Assistant Professor Dr. Tahsin Eren Sayar, Associate Professor Dr. Yavuz Küçükalkan, and Assistant Professor Dr. Yasin Yılmaz from the Department of Graphic Design, led the event. The Akbank Short Film Festival was an important event for participants to develop their perspectives on culture and art, and to enhance their creative thinking.
