Our third-year students from the New Media and Communication Department, Nida Toraman and Elif Arslan, participated in the journalism workshop themed "If the Frame is Ready, the Future is on Air," organised in Ankara in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Turkish News Cameramen Association, and the International Journalists Association of Turkish-speaking Countries (TÜÜGD).
In the three-day training program, students were given the opportunity to meet with industry professionals beyond theoretical knowledge.
Throughout the educational process, students who participated in workshops covering a wide range of topics from news ethics to digital verification, behind-the-scenes techniques to AI-supported content production, gained in-depth competence in current media topics such as combating disinformation, image composition, and editing techniques within the program.
Students also earned the right to receive a participation certificate after the training program.
