The "Fourth Intern Workshop" event, organised by the Yalova University Communication Club and the faculty members of the New Media and Communication Department, was held with high participation in the 15 July Conference Hall. The event, which was brought to life with the slogan "Not Interns, but Future Professionals!", brought students together with individuals who have industry experience.
As part of the workshop, Erdem Yılmaz, an intern at Mango Medya Advertising Agency and working at FLO Corporate, İrem Köse, an intern at TRT Radio and undergoing producer training, and Salih Emir Kutlu, a cameraman at Turkuvaz Medya A Haber and also a Remax Real Estate consultant, were speakers. The participants shared their career journeys and the experiences they gained during their internship processes with the students.
At the event, the importance of the internship process in career development, key points to consider when entering the industry, and ways to professionalise in the field of communication were discussed. Students had the opportunity to directly obtain information about the topics they were curious about by asking questions to the speakers.
At the end of the event, participation certificates were presented to the attendees by Prof. Dr. Esra Cizmeci Ümit, Dr. Faculty Member Banu Ezber Sayar, and Instructor Ceyda Ünver Tetik in recognition of their contributions. After the presentation of the participation certificates, the event concluded.
