Yalova University students returned with two awards from the National Blog Writing Competition, held worldwide, which explored the impact of ethics on the media.
Sudenaz Merdin, a third-year student in the New Media and Communication Department, won first prize with her essay titled ‘The Silent Power of Public Relations: Ethics,’ while Möldir Zakiorova, a fourth-year student in the same department, was awarded second prize for her essay titled ‘Ethics in the Media: Turning Information into Trust.’ Thus, Yalova University New Media and Communication students reached the top of the competition.
The students who took the top two places in the competition once again proved the strength of our university and department in education and the competence of our students. With this great success on the international stage, Yalova University students continue to make a name for themselves not only in Turkey but also around the world.
